Sir/Madam,

Kindly provide the information on the subject matter, where in  a SHO/IO of a Police Station are involved in acts of malfeasance and wrong doing and as to how an affected citizen can file a complaint against such SHO/IO:-

1) The competent authority, for the complaint to be addressed, for taking due cognizance of the matter and taking appropriate action on the complaint as provided in the hierarchy of police department.

2)  Inform the format of a complaint to be preferred against SHO/IO.

3) Any additional facts and circumstances to be brought on record in such a complaint.

4) Please inform me the punishment and penalities prescribed for the PIO who denies, delays, the disposal of applications and provides false or misleading information.
